1) internship @ St Regis!

had an interview on the 29th and was told that results would only be out in a week or two butttttt i received this piece of good news within 3 days! kinda looking forward to interning in a hotel but definitely not looking forward to starting internship almost a month before my friends start school :(

you would have noticed that i'm no longer the same April.

in the past,i liked being the one to protect my friends. most of the time i would be the leader in the clique and would go all out just to protect all my friends which are very precious to me. thinking back,i'm really in awe about how i managed to throw all my pride away and stand by all my friends no matter whatever happens. i'm so strong in the past but what about now?

i'm the one being protected by all my friends now. i cry and whine to them about how my life sucks and they would do the job which i used to do. they treat me like a princess and call me princess too. i'm happy that i have friends who protect me but what if i become a spoilt girl?

i want to be like the past too. but where do i start from?

i am neglecting you and i do feel bad about it. since i am free now....i shall try to blog.

recently my life has been in a mess. yes very contradicting because in my prev post i said that i'm actually very happy and contended with my life right now. but the fact is that i've been lying to myself ALL THE TIME. i'm not happy and i shouldnt be afraid to admit it.

majority of my friends whom i really trust ALWAYS disappoint me. they'll always claim that they will 'be there for me no matter what' but when shit happens to me they'll also be the one who ditch me. i don't know if its because i'm too trusting or did i have expectations which are far from what they can give. but i really hate the feeling of being betrayed or left alone. i always tell my friends that i'm '#foreveralone'. i made it sound as if its a joke but deep inside my heart i'm really feeling that way,feeling that i'm all alone and nobody cares. i don't know who are my true friends because i'm always afraid that they will turn out to be someone different from what ive expected.

humans,why do they have to lie to themselves? there's no point in lying to yourself because most of the time,people who know you well enough would be able to see through and wake you up. lying to youself may make you feel better but in the long run,it's going to be nothing but a turmoil.

putting aside the chimology things. ive been skipping school too frequently,to the extent whereby at times i do worry about my studies. what if i fail this semester? every morning i have to fight against my bed whether to accompany it or to leave it for school. most of the time i failed and decided to spend more time with it,but what never fails is that when i wake up,i'd feel extremely guilty. i am not joking.

what's happening in my life recently is just school and work. i have no time to go out or whatever because even if i do have time for my own leisure,i'll want to take a rest and enjoy life of being a student.

worked my ass off for the past few months and managed to earn quite abit for myself to get some pretty things for myself! went to bugis street on labour's day with mummy and got myself the envelope clutch in hotpink which ive been eyeing since CNY! but sigh...its pretty common now :( and i got myself a maxi skirt too,gonna shop for a nice nice top to go with it! and mummy got me a pink baby-g watch too! its been long since i wore a watch,and i bought a hello kitty bb cover for my bb too!!

and..i just ordered this bag from http://spreebyjenny-gwp.blogspot.com/! very cheap and affordable ok! $9 only since its a free gift from some japanese magazine,cant wait for it to reach meeee!

yehhhh havent been updating much about my life i know! so..some other random things which happened :

-passed my work probation!
have been working at berrylite for a month plus now and ive passed their probation! pay has increased by a wee bit and got to know a few more friends toooo~ and im more used to working at a shop instead of working at a particular counter! hehez~

-school
year 2's work is definitely x2 harder then year 1...to be frank i can't keep up with the pace and i am really not performing well in school..especially the modules which i am not familiar with at all especially econs and culinary science :( but i'm quite glad that my classmates are nice and fun people which has made school a little more interesting than it is now. praying hard that i'll maintain/improve my previous sem's gpa and not fall below expectations :(

its p15 for the upcoming week! gonna get separated from e26g after that....sigh i hate parting ways :( but looking on the bright side,year one is over and its my htm module's excursion trip tomorrow!

3 out of 5 of my ut2 grades are released and they look pretty decent :) except for maths,which i really think that i can do better ;) and i really hope that i'll do better this sem,cuz i think i did pretty badly last sem :(

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

spent my new year eve and new year outside till the wee hours! hahaha feels great!

new year eve

spent at edwin's place! his parents prepared so many things for us to eat we were like ':O' when we stepped into his house! and we had steamboat+grilled food hehehe! felt like cny and we're having some reunion dinner with each other! omggg i really love my Js so much (L)!

then proceeded with countdown i watched rapunzel on edwin's laptop and fell asleep and cabbed home at 6+! pics will be uploaded after i get them from liting!

new year

woke up damn late for work but i still went to work anyway! worked for around 2 hours then headed to my company's bbq at west coast! but i was kinda sad when we reached there la..cos it was pouring :( but the skies cleared after an hour and we started bbq-ing! was happy but too tired to do anything there..just sat there like some princess and waited for them to bbq for me haha! and i was suan-ed by everyone cuz i was wearing a dress -_- bo bian leh i need to work!!!

then cabbed home at around 2+! 2 straight nights of grilled food+cabbing. life is good :)

2010 is ending soon! oh yea this year was a fucking bad one for me,so i'm actually quite happy that its gonna end soon! hopefully all the bad things that happened to me will end too :)

went dating with liting ytd! she came over to my workplace and i accompanied her for dinner before heading to citylink for garretts popcorns! yumyumz we bought the caramel flavoured one but it was tooooo sweet and we got so sick of it! but it was quality time spent with her sitting by esplanade and marina square chatting about all sorts of things! gonna see her again tmr yay!!

today marks my last day of working at kobe fugetsudo/goncharoff. reminds me the period of time when i left last year due to O's,but i returned eventually once poly started. but now,i doubt that i'm going back anymore.

i dont like the feeling for staying at the same place for a long time. as time passes by,you'll start to see the ugly side of it. you'll feel irritated and sick of it. as much as i wanna stay due to the (almost) perfect environment,i still feel sick having to listen to people grumbling/complaining all the time. so i think i'm leaving for good. ive been there for almost 2 years anw,the longest ive ever worked for.

gonna commit to a new job already. i hope i'm prepared for it and hopefully it'll be a good one :)
